About Us

The Hägerneholm principal area includes two municipal preschools, a primary school, and after-school care for students from preschool to grade 9. We are now looking for engaged substitutes for:

  • Hägerneholms Preschool
  • Hägerneholm School
  • Trädgårdsstadens Preschool

About the Job

As a substitute, you work as needed when regular staff are absent, sometimes at short notice. You can also be booked for shorter, continuous periods. We are looking for someone who is flexible, curious, and interested in working with children and young people of different ages.

Your Responsibilities

Preschool: You support the educational team in daily work and are active in the children's play, meals, rest periods, and learning. You contribute to a safe, fun, and developing environment with the child's best interests in focus.

Primary School (Teacher Substitute): As a teacher substitute, you are an important part of the students' learning. You are responsible for teaching during the regular teacher's absence and create a safe and inspiring environment where students receive support to develop as far as possible in their knowledge development. You help students understand, complete, and progress in their school assignments, always with the student's learning in focus. For longer substitutes, planning, assessment, and contact with guardians may also be included.

After-School/Collaboration: You support students in the classroom and serve as additional support in teaching. During breaks and after-school hours, you are an active part of the operation, where you are happy to take the initiative and drive activities that encourage play, movement, creativity, and community. We appreciate that you are creative and attentive, and that you create good opportunities for all students to participate on their own terms. You contribute energy, safety, and a warm welcome and are an important adult in the children's day.

Qualifications

  • Good knowledge of the Swedish language
  • Meritorious: childcare education, teaching assistant education, leisure pedagogy education, or other educational background
  • Experience working with children/youth in groups (e.g., in schools, as sports leaders, or confirmation leaders) is a plus

  • Is proactive and tries to find solutions to help children and students in their learning
  • Shows loyalty and commitment in interactions with children and colleagues
  • Is flexible and unafraid, willing to try new tasks
