Substitute Staff for Municipal Preschools in Lidingö City

Lidingö City has 20 municipal preschools. They differ in pedagogical orientation, composition of child and staff groups, design of facilities, and work plans. What unites them is the mission to lay the foundation for lifelong learning, based on the Education Act and the preschool curriculum.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

With us, you may work at various municipal preschools and experience different workplaces. As a substitute in preschool, you often replace regular staff during absences, usually with short notice on the same morning.

On the days you accept a booking, you will work together with and under the guidance of regular staff. You will participate in the education/instruction provided at the preschool and be engaged in the children's play and learning, contributing to a safe, secure, fun, and developing everyday life for all children. As a substitute, you are expected to be flexible and able to step in where needed. You are expected to be active, take initiative, and ask questions as necessary. Practical tasks may include setting tables, tidying up, etc. Occasionally, kitchen duties may be included in the job responsibilities. We primarily seek individuals who are available to work all or several days a week.

QUALIFICATIONS

It is advantageous if you have previously worked in a preschool or in similar roles. You are flexible, solution-oriented, collaborative, and have a good command of Swedish.
