The Education Administration is responsible for all activities within the municipality's preschools, primary schools, adapted primary schools, after-school care, high schools, and adult education.

Sigtuna Competence Center is responsible for coordinating adult education, the municipalities' activity responsibility, summer job placement, and competence supply through education. The unit employs study and career counselors, administrators, study coaches, and coordinators for internships, KAA, and competence supply.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Now you have the chance to help develop the primary school's study and career guidance according to the MOA framework. We are looking for two engaged and innovative study and career counselors for our competence supply team that works centrally with the municipality's primary schools. Your focus will be on working with study and career guidance in a broad sense and, together with the schools, conducting a modern and future-oriented guidance effort where students' choices and opportunities are linked to the labor market's needs and future competencies. Your goal is to broaden and inspire students in grades F-9 in their educational and career choices and contribute to integrating future competence supply into the schools' work. You will support with environmental monitoring to ensure that the schools' guidance is current and relevant. You will be a support for the schools' own counselors and drive central initiatives and competence-enhancing efforts.

QUALIFICATIONS

As you will work centrally in the administration, it is important that you are clear and can easily engage others. You inspire and motivate colleagues and partners to adopt new working methods and solutions. You view challenges positively and see opportunities rather than obstacles. You enjoy working collaboratively and easily build good relationships. You understand the value of sharing experiences to achieve common goals. Your work is methodical and organized, allowing you to plan, implement, and follow up on efforts effectively. You are adept at maintaining order in a varied workflow and have experience with documentation.

You have a degree as a study and career counselor and speak and write fluent Swedish.
