Workplace Description

Skanskvarnsskolan is beautifully located in Årsta, overlooking Årstaviken. The school is not far from Gullmarsplan, about a 7-minute brisk walk.

Today, it is an F-8 school with approximately 650 students. The school is growing from the bottom up and will become an F-9 school by 2026.

We are a total of about 100 staff members who work in various ways to support students' goal fulfillment and well-being based on an inclusive and salutogenic approach.

The school's vision is the foundation for all activities and is as follows: "A school that holds together - for the student's best every day".

We are now looking for a person who collaborates with teachers in grades 1-3 and works in the school's after-school program in the afternoons.

Job Description

During school hours, you will collaborate with teachers in grades 1-3, and in the afternoon, you will work in the school's after-school program, creating meaningful activities for the students together with your colleagues. During the school day, you will work to create a safe environment for the students during breaks. We would like you to have previous experience in organizing and conducting good break activities. In the afternoons, you will work in the after-school program.

Qualifications

It is a requirement that you are a licensed teacher for after-school programs, and it is an advantage if you have qualifications in physical education and health.

Other

The position is a full-time employment of 40 hours/week, scheduled Monday to Friday. Working hours are based on the school's opening hours, which are currently 06:30-18:00.
