Commercial Manager for Destination China and Far East

Do you want to take on a strategic key role where you can build, influence, and shape the commercial business for Destination China and the Far East for the Nordic market? We are now looking for an experienced Commercial Manager for a new role with significant authority, clear business focus, and excellent development opportunities.

The position is full-time and based in our office in Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work.

About the Role

As the Commercial Manager for Nordic Countries, you will have overall responsibility for the B2B commercial operations related to Destination China/Far East. The role combines strategic work with operational execution and involves close collaboration with Nordic tour operators, partners, and internal stakeholders. Since this is a new role, you will have a unique opportunity to influence and shape both working methods, offerings, and commercial direction in the Nordic markets.

Your Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with tour operators and B2B partners in the Nordics
  • Be responsible for product design and commercial strategies tailored to each market
  • Negotiate, manage, and follow up on contracts, focusing on profitability and compliance
  • Monitor customer results and analyze market trends, business data, and performance
  • Optimize offerings and business models to drive growth and competitiveness.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

  • At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry (mandatory)
  • Documented experience in commercial management and product development
  • Established contacts with tour operators in Sweden and the rest of the Nordics
  • Strong analytical skills and experience working data-driven
  • Experience working with Destination China and/or other East Asian destinations (strong merit)
  • Solid experience in contract management and commercial negotiations
  • Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written (Chinese is a merit but not a requirement)
  • At least 5 years of professional experience in commercial management within tourism is an absolute requirement
  • You must have the right to work in Sweden (Swedish citizenship or valid work permit).
