Junior Project Manager for Purchasing

Job Description

In the role of Junior Project Manager for Purchasing, you will be an important part of the project organization where you support the lead project manager in purchasing-related aspects of the project. You will act as a sub-project manager for purchasing and work closely with the purchasing organization to ensure that activities, timelines, and documentation are aligned with the project's needs.

The work involves following up on purchasing activities, coordinating information between the project and purchasing, as well as structuring and gathering the documentation needed for purchasing decisions. You will monitor the status of orders and deliveries and contribute to keeping the project updated on the purchasing situation. The role combines operational purchasing tasks with project management, providing you with a broad and developing everyday work experience.

You will also participate in project meetings where you report on the status within the purchasing area and request resources from the rest of the purchasing organization when needed.

About the Candidate

Requirements:

Post-secondary education in economics, logistics, or industrial economics
Good knowledge of Swedish
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the Security Protection Act, which requires Swedish citizenship and a clean criminal record
