About the Department

The FMTIS Implementation Department in Ronneby consists of three sections: Tele 1, Tele 2, and IT. We perform operation and maintenance of the Armed Forces' telecommunications and IT systems. We ensure communication for the Armed Forces' other units and are located at Ronneby Garrison. We offer a job that differs from others, providing many new experiences and good development opportunities.

Main Responsibilities

We work in a developing environment characterized by ambition, technical competence, and opportunities for personal development. We are looking for someone with a strong sense of responsibility who is eager to take on new challenges.

  • Implementation, installation, and commissioning of security systems and associated equipment
  • Preventive and corrective maintenance and service of security systems

The work is carried out both independently and in teams, primarily within the garrison area. There may also be work at unmanned facilities in southern Sweden.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • High school education with an electrical/telecommunications focus or equivalent knowledge and skills assessed as equivalent by the employer
  • Computer literacy
  • Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English
  • Driving license at least B (manual)

You have good collaboration skills, perform tasks with high quality, and have a desire to further develop within the competence area of the position. Furthermore, you are a team player with good social skills. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

DESIRABLE

  • Electrical education
  • Relevant experience
  • Experience in cabling/installation work
  • Experience with technical security systems within alarm classes 1-4
  • Experience with the Armed Forces/FMTIS
  • Military driver's license for passenger cars
  • Completed military training, e.g., conscription/GSU

Location: Kallinge. Travel and work at other locations are included in the position. The position is a permanent employment starting with a 6-month probationary period for those who are not already employed by the Armed Forces. In the Armed Forces, the position is referred to as Tele Engineer. The Armed Forces harness the qualities that diversity and equal gender distribution bring to the organization.
