We are now looking for a material planner for exciting ship projects with our client in the defense industry in Karlskrona. Here you will work in the field on projects and be responsible for the administration and coordination of materials and deliveries. We are looking for someone with an education in economics, logistics, supply chain, or a few years of relevant experience. To thrive and succeed in this role, a drive, a structured work methodology, and the ability to coordinate and plan are required.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

As a material planner, you will be involved in the start of various types of ship-related projects. You will work in the field and together with the purchasing project manager, you are a crucial piece in ensuring good conditions for successful projects. In the projects, you will ensure that the projects are supplied with the right materials at the right time. You will closely collaborate with the purchasing department and assist the project in planning material purchases and deliveries.

To thrive and succeed in this role, a strong drive, a structured work methodology, and the ability to plan and coordinate your work are required. Here, the right attitude and willingness to develop are crucial!

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO:

• Has a YH or university degree in economics, logistics, supply chain, or a few years of work experience
• Has a strong interest in the defense industry
• Experience in purchasing, planning, logistics, or similar is an advantage
• Ability to build relationships and gather information from different functions within the organization
• A high degree of initiative and a desire to develop
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may involve requirements for certain citizenship.
