We are looking for a designer who wants to be involved in developing some of the most advanced marine platforms within the defense industry. Here you will work with the latest technology and contribute to solutions that are important for Sweden's security.

Here you will have the opportunity to work with the latest technology in the marine defense industry. You will be part of a larger (but close-knit) team where designers and systems engineers work side by side to create qualitative and safe marine platforms.

As a designer, you will have the chance to work with complex technical solutions while developing your skills and taking the next step in your professional development. In the role of designer, you will work in Creo to create rough sketches and designs of various parts of the boat. The focus is on designing entire systems, not just individual components. Furthermore, you will help build the entire skeleton of the boat, both inside and outside. The role also involves support for production, where you will receive questions about the drawings, which may involve understanding how something is supposed to function in practice or solving problems related to details that need to be corrected. In the long run, there are opportunities to transition to a role as a systems engineer.

• Has a bachelor's or master's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent engineering education
• Has at least one year of experience working as a designer.
• Speaks and writes fluently in Swedish and English.

It is advantageous but not a requirement if you have a military background.

As a person, we believe you are driven and goal-oriented and have a great technical interest. You are fearless and have the ability to take initiative while being meticulous is important in this role.

This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the client has requirements for security classification, this may entail requirements for certain citizenship.
