As a calculation engineer, you will be an important part of your team consisting of other calculation engineers, mechanical designers, and project managers. Together, you will work on implementing improvements and investments in the client's production environment. The role involves a varied everyday life where you follow the work from idea to producing equipment.

You will work on various types of projects with varying scopes of calculation assignments and have close collaboration with designers. In the role, you will also serve as an important expert support to project managers, designers, and production engineers.

• Perform strength calculations of structures
• Work with simulations using finite element methods
• Conduct cable management simulations
• Plan and streamline calculation assignments
• Work with order management related to calculation work

• Master's degree in mechanical engineering or civil engineering with a focus on calculation
• Experience in mechanical design and calculation work according to Eurocode
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Basic knowledge of machine safety, AFS, and CE marking
• Experience in cable manufacturing and cable management
• Knowledge of Windchill, SolidWorks, and Ansys

• Start: Immediately
• Assignment period: Approximately 9 months with a chance for extension
• Scope: Full-time, 100% on-site
• Location: Karlskrona
