Supplier Quality in Strategic Sourcing & Supply

Do you want to be part of developing supplier quality work within Strategic Sourcing & Supply? We are now looking for a driven and analytical person for supplier quality to join our client's quality department team in Karlskrona. The role involves working with supplier assessments, follow-up on deviations, and driving improvement work in collaboration with our suppliers and purchasing.

Start: As soon as possible, by agreement
Scope: Full-time, consulting assignment
Location: Karlskrona onsite
Duration: 1 year with the possibility of extension.

About the role:

In this role, you will:

• Independently conduct and follow up on supplier assessments.
• Drive the work with deviation management and root cause analyses in cases of incorrect deliveries.
• Ensure that suppliers meet our quality requirements and follow up on their improvement actions.
• Collaborate closely with both internal stakeholders (e.g., purchasing, engineering, logistics) and external suppliers.
• Contribute to the development of working methods, routines, and quality assurance processes.

Your profile:

You are a solution-oriented and engaged person with strong analytical skills and good judgment. You take initiative, enjoy collaborating, and have a natural ability to build relationships - both internally and externally. You are used to working in a structured manner and take responsibility for driving your work forward.

We are looking for someone who has:

• An engineering degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Several years of experience in roles related to quality work, supplier development, or production.
• Good understanding of purchasing and quality processes.
• Experience in driving and following up on deviations.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• The ability to structure and analyze complex information, as well as communicate clear conclusions.

It is a plus if you have experience in:

• Supplier assessments and supplier development.
• Various manufacturing methods and industrial processes.
• Working in cross-functional teams within engineering and purchasing organizations.
