You are hopefully a warm, curious, and responsible person who wants to help create security, joy, and development in a young boy's everyday life.

The boy you will be working with is a vibrant and positive 13-year-old with a great interest in sports in all its forms - both as a spectator and as an active participant. Other interests include video games, reading, and writing. Despite the brain injury that affects his mobility and speech, his life is filled with activity, laughter, and progress. He communicates fully through Tobii - an eye-controlled communication aid - and you as an assistant will have the chance to learn this way of meeting and understanding each other.

Your task will be to support him in daily routines such as hygiene, meals, transfers, and dressing - but also to be a present and attentive companion in his leisure interests. You will get to use both your heart and mind, and have the opportunity to grow in your role by learning new techniques and communication methods, so an interest in technology is a plus.
Since a relative is English-speaking, good English is important, as well as good Swedish. The work involves some lifting, but aids such as lifts are available. The work is often performed with a colleague.
