About the position

We are now looking for an accounting economist with good knowledge of German accounting and fluent German to join our team in Sweden. The position is based at our headquarters in Norrtälje and involves close collaboration with the operations manager and the accounting firm locally in Germany.

You will play a central role in ensuring accurate accounting and financial processes related to the German operations, acting as an important link between Sweden and Germany.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will work with:

• Ongoing accounting according to German accounting regulations (HGB)
• Monthly and annual financial statements for the German company
• VAT reporting and other tax-related issues related to Germany
• Contact with external parties such as auditors and advisors in Germany
• Financial reporting and follow-up
• Preferred: knowledge of payroll processes

Qualifications

We want you to have:

• Education and several years of experience working as an accounting economist
• Practical experience in German accounting and bookkeeping
• Very good knowledge of German, both spoken and written
• Good knowledge of Swedish
• Good skills and experience working in Excel
