ABOUT THE POSITION

Calderys is a world-leading supplier of refractory solutions and specialized services for industries requiring extreme heat resistance and energy efficiency. They assist their customers from foundries to steelworks in transitioning to more sustainable production through innovative technology and technical expertise.

In 2023, they took a strategic step forward by opening entirely new Foundry Service Centers in Mariestad. This state-of-the-art facility of 1,500 m² is their Nordic hub, located in the heart of the action to be close to their customers. Here, they combine the resources of a large company with the speed and personal service of a local unit.

As a Technical Coordinator, you will work in a dynamic environment with both technical support and coordination. The role is split 50/50 between technical support and coordination. You will support both production and the Nordic sales team.

You will have the opportunity to travel to various countries within Europe, and since this role is a central coordination role, you will meet and get to know many new colleagues. You will report directly to the sales director based in Sweden but will also closely collaborate with sales directors in France, Germany, Italy, the Nordics, and Turkey.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

This role involves providing technical support and coordinating both ongoing operations and projects, as well as being responsible for administrative and strategic tasks within the Foundry Service Center and EMEA's sales and marketing departments.

  • Work closely with the Site Manager by participating in daily/monthly meetings and providing technical and coordinating support to ongoing operations and projects, including calculations, planning, logistics, and internal coordination
  • Participate in monthly meetings and, when necessary, other European meetings, with responsibility for supporting the preparation of results, graphs, and presentation materials
  • Plan and coordinate customer visits, internal visits, seminars, training, and events
  • Order freight, manage invoicing, and book transportation

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Has good system skills
  • Has completed secondary education, preferably in technology or communication
  • Is fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form as it is used in daily work; additional languages are an advantage

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience or a good understanding of technical systems such as SAP, Salesforce, or Autodesk
  • Industrial background or understanding of heavy industry

Additional information:

  • Travel: approx. 1–3 days per month
  • Location: Mariestad, full-time on-site Mon–Fri
  • Working hours: 08:00–16:30 with flexible hours (+/–2 hours)
  • Remote work by agreement
