About the Logistics School and Support Department

The position is located in the support department of the Logistics School. The support department provides assistance in administration, ICT pedagogy, course administration, and material and vehicle support for training and educational activities.

Main Responsibilities

The support department coordinates and supports the internal publication work of the Logistics School and T 2. As a publications officer, you play a central role in ensuring that publications and educational materials maintain high quality, are up-to-date, and accessible to the entire Armed Forces. Your main responsibilities include:

  • Planning, coordinating, and following up on publication production.
  • Supporting managers, project leaders, and authors in administrative routines during the development and maintenance of publications.
  • Quality assuring publication production through language and formal reviews.
  • Administering publications throughout their validity period in the Armed Forces' support systems.
  • Contributing to the development of digital educational aids related to the publications.
  • Performing other tasks as required within the department.

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • Relevant post-secondary education or equivalent competence deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Excellent ability to express oneself in Swedish, both orally and in writing
  • Good ability to express oneself in English, both orally and in writing
  • Proven ability to work in digital systems and the Office suite
  • Driver's license B (manual transmission)

MERITORIOUS

  • Current experience working in the Armed Forces' administrative systems
  • Current experience in image and illustration techniques
  • Current experience with Adobe InDesign or equivalent
  • Current experience in publication work
  • Current experience in coordination or project management

Other

Employment type: Civil position, permanent employment. The Armed Forces apply a six-month probationary period for those not employed by the authority.

Employment rate: Full-time

Work location: Skövde

Start date: As soon as possible or by agreement.

Travel in the service may occur. The position is located in the support department of the Logistics School in Skövde.

The motto of the unit is: Logistics - our responsibility. Göta Transport Regiment belongs to the army and is the only unit in the entire Armed Forces that solely works with logistics. Logistics is a collective term for supply, technical service, transport service, and defense medicine. This means that the regiment ensures that the combat units receive the support they need to accomplish their tasks, such as food, water, ammunition, and fuel. With our medical capabilities, we take care of the injured, and with our transport capabilities, we ensure that units arrive at the right place at the right time.

Göta Transport Regiment trains, develops, and leads logistics units. Units that are immediately usable for operations, both national and international. At Göta Transport Regiment, there is the Armed Forces' Logistics and Motor School, which trains logistics officers for the entire Armed Forces.
