Forsviks bruk is a place with an exciting history – and we bring it to life together! We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of our team and help create a museum that engages and inspires.

With us, you will have a varied and stimulating job in a historical environment where collaboration is key. During the summer season, we work together to keep the museum open and welcoming. You will be responsible for the reception, shop, program activities, and tours – always with a focus on good hospitality and the best possible service for our visitors. Sometimes we step into each other's tasks to make the whole operation work. It is the sum of everyone's efforts that creates the place and the experience our visitors encounter.

In several tasks, you will have a coordinating role, for example, regarding scheduling, staffing, cash handling, bookings, and purchases for the shop. The rest of the year, we work together to plan operations, create programs, welcome groups, and maintain contact with our partners.

The work also includes administrative tasks such as invoice management and orders. You will also be responsible for coordinating information to visitors, social media, web, and printed material together with the department's Communications Unit, ensuring that the message is consistent and reaches the right audience. You will also participate in working groups within the department where we work to develop the museum's operations.

Qualifications

You should have a few years of professional experience, especially in working at a museum or visitor destination. You should have academic studies in relevant subjects for the position, such as cultural history and tourism. You are outgoing with a sense of service and hospitality. You are creative, take initiative in your work, and find it easy to make contacts. Collaborating with others is a given for you. Since the tasks are varied, you need to be both flexible and structured.

You have good communication skills and can express yourself well in speech and writing with good knowledge of Swedish and English. Knowledge of German is an advantage. You are experienced in social media and web editorial work.

We will start interviewing from week 7.

A valid driver's license (B) is required.
