Qualifications

We are looking for you who are a trained nursing assistant with a specialization in psychiatry or equivalent education in social care. You have computer skills and knowledge of Swedish, with a good ability to express yourself in both speech and writing. You have experience working with the target group of people with mental disabilities. It is an advantage if you have training/experience in care and support coordination and experience in social psychiatry.

As a person, we want you to be structured, have excellent collaboration skills, be relationship-building, and have a good ability to meet other people. We also want you to contribute with engagement and participation.

Job Responsibilities

As a housing supporter, you currently work Monday to Friday. You perform both social and practical support interventions to strengthen and support individuals in their ability to manage everyday life, both inside and outside the home. The primary purpose is to support people with mental disabilities to, as far as possible, independently meet and manage everyday life in various situations.

The goal is to contribute to a recovery process that can eventually make the housing support unnecessary. This may involve providing support and guidance in performing various tasks at home, such as cleaning, laundry, and cooking, as well as supporting in finances and contact with other authorities, but also expanding everyday life outside the home by supporting social interactions. The housing support should be designed with consideration for the individual's changing needs based on a personal implementation plan. The implementation plan is established in consultation with the individual and is based on the services that the individual has been granted in their decision regarding housing support.

The ability to manage documentation is a must. You collaborate with colleagues and other important partners. Additionally, you are tasked with establishing and following up on the implementation plan, maintaining contact with relatives, guardians, and participating in care planning and other meetings.
