About the position

We are now looking for 2 new assistants who want to work as personal assistants on an as-needed basis for our child client living in Enskede. As a substitute, you will work during the absence of regular assistants due to illness or vacation.

Job responsibilities:

• Assist with daily routines

• Assist with personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, and during meals

• Transfers may require lifting

• Play

Working hours:

• 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM Awake night weekdays

• 10:00 PM - 8:30 AM Awake night weekends

• 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Weekdays

• 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Weekends

• 4:00 PM - 9:00 PM Weekends

About the client

The boy is 11 years old and needs your help as an assistant in his daily life due to autism and muscular dystrophy. The boy lives with his mother, and there are 2 cats in the home, so you cannot be allergic.

Are you the one we are looking for: You are a person with a strong sense of responsibility and sensitivity towards children with disabilities. You must be punctual and responsible and able to take both written and verbal directives to create security.

For the boy to feel comfortable with you, you need to be a positive, warm, secure, and attentive person with a lot of patience. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Meritorious: You have education in care and social services and knowledge about autism, as well as experience with alternative communication such as TAKK.

Requirements:

• You are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing and comprehension

• Non-smoker

• Not allergic to pets; cats are in the home

• Professional experience working with children with disabilities

Scope: 2 substitutes as needed

Start date: Immediately. Interviews will be conducted on an ongoing basis and may be filled before the application deadline.

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
