About the assignment

We are looking for committed and responsible individuals who want to work as:

• Escorts – you support individuals with disabilities to participate in community life and break isolation, for example by motivating and accompanying them to activities according to the user's wishes. Short shifts of 2-5 hours at a time, afternoons and weekends.
• Relief workers – you relieve family members at home by spending time with and supporting the family's children or adults with disabilities. Short shifts of 2-5 hours at a time, afternoons and weekends.
• Substitute staff in personal assistance – you work in the user's home or wherever the user is located and provide support in daily life based on individual needs. Tasks may vary, but often involve personal care, communication, household chores, and creating a safe environment. You work in the absence of regular staff as needed and during planned absences. You should be able to work at all hours of the day, all days of the week, on-call work may occur.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in working with people.
• Is responsible, reliable, and flexible.
• Has good collaboration skills and can work independently.
• Has good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written.
• Previous experience in care, support, or working with individuals with disabilities is advantageous.
• Your qualities should include being motivating and empathetic, and being able to adapt to different people's needs and ways of expressing themselves. A good and flexible approach is of utmost importance.
