The goal is an energy-efficient production process and to ensure that the residents receive the best service regarding district heating and cooling, ultimately leading to a sustainable and pleasant Ronneby.
Ronneby Miljö & Teknik is looking for an Operations EngineerWe are seeking an Operations Engineer for the District Heating & Cooling department to help develop the energy solutions of the future in Ronneby. You will be a key person in ensuring that operations and maintenance function optimally at our facilities. You will have skilled operations technicians and supervisors to support you.
In your daily work, you will focus on optimizing, streamlining, and, last but not least, improving our production processes. Ronneby Miljö & Teknik continuously works on improvement initiatives such as 5S and Operational Management.
Your main responsibilities:• Responsible for production and distribution as well as optimization and streamlining of operations and maintenance.• Ensure that operating instructions and maintenance plans are updated and followed.• Develop our maintenance system Idus to be as comprehensive and user-friendly as possible.• Plan and follow up on maintenance work, legal requirements, and internal training• Actively drive improvement initiatives, investigations, and follow-ups.• Contribute to achieving the organization’s goals in quality, efficiency, delivery, and safety.• Lead projects that develop and strengthen the organization moving forward.Examples of tasks:• Support supervisors and management in feasibility studies, investments, budget work, and planning.• Produce statistics, key figures, and operational forecasts.• Manage purchases, approvals, and invoicing according to current procedures.
The role is based at Sörbyverket in Ronneby, but you also have the option to work remotely 1-2 days a week when the business allows. On-call duty may be included.
About youWe are looking for someone with a few years of experience in district heating, energy production, or process industry. You are an educated engineer in a relevant field – e.g., energy, mechanical, marine engineering, or equivalent. It is important that you have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, as well as a B driver's license.
