Your upcoming role

In the role of maintenance engineer, you will drive maintenance activities at our process facilities. You will collaborate with colleagues in operations, process, and all maintenance functions. It is an operational role, which also includes some strategy and long-term planning. You will also participate in work at other facilities, pumping stations, and pressure boosting stations as needed.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• being responsible for maintenance activities from the moment the need arises until the case is closed
• coordinating purchases and procurement for maintenance work
• developing preventive maintenance plans
• ensuring that maintenance work is carried out safely and under good working conditions

The position is based at Källby Wastewater Treatment Plant in Lund. You will be part of the Strategy & Planning group, which is one of four groups within the maintenance unit. The unit is responsible for planning, execution, and development of the functions Mechanics, Electrical and Instrumentation, and Automation. The unit performs maintenance on the Production and Distribution Department's facilities.

Your experiences

We are looking for someone who has:

• several years of experience in maintenance work as well as planning and follow-up of maintenance within the process industry or similar operations
• post-secondary education in mechanical engineering or equivalent
• good mechanical understanding combined with a strong interest in maintenance
• Driving license B
• it is an advantage if you have led or planned maintenance projects
