Procurement Administrator at VA SYD

Do you want to contribute to making VA SYD's procurement more efficient and do you, like us, believe that it should be easy to do the right thing? We are looking for someone who is structured, can handle many different tasks simultaneously, and enjoys being the go-to person for many colleagues.

Your upcoming role

As a procurement administrator, you will be responsible for:

  • tracking key performance indicators
  • conducting internal controls
  • administering the spending tool, for example, setting rules and entering price lists
  • managing contract administration, such as contract extensions and terminations, index adjustments
  • improving, maintaining, and administering the contract catalog
  • participating in the development of contract areas and procurement categories
  • providing general administrative support to the procurement unit

In this role, you will handle various inquiries with different stakeholders, both internal and external contacts. The position is located in the Procurement Unit, which is part of the Finance Department at our headquarters in modern premises near Malmö Central. The unit is in an exciting development phase, where improvement work is ongoing with the goal of achieving a more strategic procurement process.

Who are you?

Your experiences

We are looking for someone who has:

  • a post-secondary education; for example, a YH education in strategic procurement, administration, public management, system management, or equivalent knowledge acquired through work experience
  • excellent ability to express yourself in Swedish, both spoken and written
  • very high computer skills in such a way that you can easily learn new systems and navigate different systems simultaneously
  • an aptitude for numbers and good knowledge of Excel, as this is seen as an advantage in the role

It is advantageous if you have:

  • an understanding of how procurement and invoicing processes are interconnected
  • worked in public sector
  • knowledge of LOU/LUF.
