The Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic in Västernorrland is a regional clinic with approximately 120 employees. Outpatient services are provided in Örnsköldsvik, Sollefteå, Härnösand, Sundsvall, and Ånge. In Sundsvall, there is also inpatient care and day care in collaboration with Adult Psychiatry and the Children's Clinic. The clinic has a long tradition of a systemic approach in dealing with children and adolescents and their families. We use various treatment methods, both individually and in groups, based on systemic, psychodynamic, and cognitive perspectives.

We are now looking for a medical secretary to join our team! The position is a temporary contract starting as soon as possible until 2026-09-30, with a possibility of extension. The position's scope is 50-100% according to agreement with the recruiting manager.

Medical Secretary for BUP, Örnsköldsvik

A medical secretary is an important part of the collaboration between professional categories and in the care of the patient - we are the "spider in the web". You will work with:

• Patient administration and dictation
• Administrative support to other staff groups at the clinic
• Journal documentation in collaboration with doctors and therapists
• Appointment booking and management of patient visits
• Mail handling and visit registration
• Diagnosis and procedure coding
• Telephone service and patient contact
• Other administrative tasks related to the clinic's daily operations

We are looking for someone who

• Is a trained medical secretary or healthcare administrator
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Has completed training in Cosmic
• Has a B driver's license

It is advantageous if you

• Have experience with NCS Cross
• Have work experience in psychiatry and involuntary care
• Have work experience in diagnosis classification
• Have additional language skills
