Your new workplace

The Service Center operates directly under the municipal director and offers services in HR, administration, and finance.

At Payroll and Pension, we have a total of 25 employees, including 17 payroll administrators. We are responsible for salaries, fees, pensions, and insurances for the municipality's employees, municipal companies, and inter-municipal associations. The department is also responsible for the operation and management of the HR/payroll system Heroma and other HR systems. Payroll and Pension actively work to simplify and streamline our processes through digital forms, case management systems, e-services, and a digital employee.

Your contribution as a payroll administrator

As a payroll administrator, you will:

• Process salaries and fees and monitor and follow up payroll management.
• Provide support to managers and employees on contractual issues related to payroll.
• Provide training and support in self-service for payroll and work management.
• Respond to inquiries from various authorities.
• Work with pension data and ensure accurate reporting to pension providers.

Your skills and experience

We are looking for someone with a completed high school education combined with some years of experience in payroll administration or other experience deemed equivalent by the employer. The position requires a good ability to express oneself in speech and writing in Swedish, as well as good digital skills with proficiency in the Office suite.

It is an advantage to have:

• Further education focused on payroll administration.
• Experience with Heroma and general regulations.

You structure your work and can handle many tasks simultaneously without losing focus on quality and accuracy. As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for moving your work forward while also having good collaboration skills, helping your colleagues, and contributing to the team's common goals. You have a good understanding of agreements and laws in the payroll area and ensure that the work is carried out correctly and in accordance with applicable regulations. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
