Service Delivery Manager at Försäkringskassan
Every year, Försäkringskassan makes 21 million decisions that affect people's lives and society as a whole. We disburse approximately 260 billion kronor each year. These are the tax funds we manage, and it is a significant responsibility. Therefore, we think innovatively and utilize the latest technology to simplify and improve, develop, and deliver IT services for the Swedish social insurance system. Welcome to one of Sweden's largest IT departments.
Within the IT Production area, the Customer Management unit is responsible for coordinating and developing the IT support necessary for the operations to function effectively, today and in the future. Our mission is to ensure that our digital solutions contribute to high quality, increased efficiency, and sustainable long-term development. Through our work, we create benefits for both the authority and society at large.
We are now looking for someone who wants to be part of this development work. In the role of Service Delivery Manager, you will have a central role in the team, where you, together with colleagues and partners, drive improvements, develop digital solutions, and enhance the quality of our deliveries.
Strategy, Collaboration, Digital Development, and Project Management
In this role, you will work on developing the IT operations in close dialogue with other authorities. The focus is on improving digital solutions, planning for the long term, and ensuring that the IT support meets the operational needs efficiently and sustainably. Your work is based on an understanding of both technology and operations and contributes to creating smarter services and a stronger digital infrastructure in the public sector.
As a Service Delivery Manager in the Customer Management unit, you contribute to developing an operation where digital solutions enhance efficiency, accessibility, and quality. Through your work, you help lay the foundation for long-term, sustainable digital development in the public sector – work that benefits both citizens and authorities.
You support the development of various forms of operational support, such as IT systems, information flows, competence development, culture, and working methods. The role can be likened to functions such as Key Account Manager or Service Delivery Manager in the private sector – but here you operate in a collaborative role between authorities rather than in a customer-supplier relationship.
You work in a customer function where all employees closely collaborate with the authorities utilizing the IT Production area’s services. The assignment includes quickly understanding the needs of various operations, managing parallel assignments, and simultaneously driving strategic issues at the management level. You weigh different perspectives, prioritize, and provide well-founded recommendations that contribute to continued development.
A central part of your work is to follow up and evaluate the quality of the deliveries made to the partners. The work is based on close collaboration and dialogue. You act proactively, initiate improvements, and contribute to further developing the offerings provided by IT Production.
The position involves handling confidential information, which places high demands on proper management. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work with us, have a high security awareness.
This is a job for you who want to take responsibility.
