Do you want to contribute to strengthening civil society?
Come and work with us at Kammarkollegiet. Here you will have the trust and responsibility to shape your work in a culture characterized by respect and community. At the same time, you will gain security and balance through state conditions, flexible solutions, and attractive benefits. With us, competence and joy at work meet – in an organization with a long and vibrant history focused on the future.
About the role
As a communicator at Kammarkollegiet, you will work alongside engaged colleagues in the Development and Communications Department. With the target audience in focus, we want to continue developing communication around the General Heritage Fund – here you will play an important role in supporting the operations and reaching out with relevant and audience-adapted information.
You will be part of a team that works closely with the Heritage Fund Department and provides both strategic and operational communication support for the General Heritage Fund's activities. The team currently consists of a press officer, a web and e-service manager, and two communicators. One of the communicators serves as team leader for the joint work on the General Heritage Fund's communication.
Together, we plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts that make it easier for civil society and our target groups to apply for funding from the General Heritage Fund. In the team, we collaborate on everything from planning, advising, and message formulation to content production for web, social media, and campaigns.
We are looking for
We are looking for a communicator with versatile skills and the ability to handle various communication challenges. Someone who enjoys both developing a plan for an activity and crafting practical solutions. Someone who appreciates the variety in a broad assignment across many communication channels.
Job description
The role involves working closely with the operations to ensure that communication is effective, audience-adapted, accessible, and meets set goals. You are also expected to plan, implement, and follow up on communication efforts – both strategically and operationally.
In addition, you will design and publish for websites, social media, and other digital channels, as well as work with content production such as writing and editing texts, creating images, videos, and other materials that strengthen our messages.
You will also participate in the planning and implementation of campaigns, information efforts, webinars, and conferences.
With a future focus and environmental monitoring, along with your commitment to good communication work, you contribute to the development of Kammarkollegiet.
Are you our new colleague?
We are looking for someone who has:
- a university degree in media and communication studies or another education that we assess as equivalent.
- current experience in planning, implementing, and following up on communication efforts.
- at least three years of experience working in the public sector in a smaller or medium-sized organization.
- very good ability to formulate clear and accessible messages for different target groups.
- experience in producing content for digital channels and social media.
- current experience working in Adobe, such as content production with Adobe Express and/or image management in Adobe Photoshop.
- good knowledge of plain language and legislation governing communication in public operations.
- experience in media work, such as news evaluation, news monitoring, and production of press releases.
It is meritorious if you have:
- experience working with information or marketing efforts aimed at increasing awareness of grants or support.
- experience in project management.
- experience editing and publishing content in the web publishing tool Sitevision.
Personal qualities
We place great emphasis on your personal qualities. The role involves many contacts, which requires good collaboration and communication skills. You are responsive to the needs of the organization, confident in your role, and have the ability to adapt communication according to the recipient and channel. Your colleagues in the communications department work with a high degree of autonomy in planning and organizing assignments. Therefore, you are also expected to be self-driven with a good ability to deliver within set timelines.
We place a very high value on your personal qualities.
Kammarkollegiet strives for diversity and values the qualities it brings to the organization. We focus on competence and welcome all applicants regardless of gender, gender identity and expression, ethnic and social background, religion or other beliefs, ability, sexual orientation, and age.
