The Planning and Building Office works to develop sustainable and efficient processes within the field of community building.

Here, competencies in planning, construction, technology, and digitalization meet to create value for the municipality's residents and operations.

As a researcher/developer, you will be an important link between operations, IT, and management. The role is broad and combines analytical work with project management and support to the management team. You contribute to developing effective working methods and digital solutions that strengthen the community building area.

Your tasks will include:

• Conducting investigations and analyses and preparing decision-making materials.
• Project managing and coordinating development projects, especially the implementation and further development of IT support and operational systems.
• Supporting the management team with coordination, preparation of matters, and follow-up of assignments.
• Being the contact person for the office's operational systems – coordinating needs, changes, and contact with suppliers and IT.
• Participating in the municipality's digitalization forum and contributing to the development of digital working methods and joint initiatives.

We are looking for someone who has:

• Relevant university education, for example in urban planning, public administration, system science, or another education that the employer deems equivalent.
• Experience in investigative work and/or operational development.
• Experience in project management, preferably within system or implementation projects.
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish.
• Good digital competence and understanding of how IT support can contribute to operational development.

Additionally, it is meritorious if you have:

• Experience from municipal or other public operations.
• Experience in the role of systems coordinator or system administrator.
• Knowledge of community building processes (e.g., planning, construction, GIS, technical management).
• Experience in change management or digitalization in organizations.

The position is a permanent employment. A probationary period may apply. Start date by agreement.
