Do you have a strong sense of service, a completed high school education, and meet high standards of accuracy? The Administrative Court in Växjö is looking for a court administrator to start in the spring of 2026.
About the Workplace
Every day, hundreds of cases and matters are decided in courts across Sweden. Our organization consists of employees with various competencies, each of whom is significant in maintaining legal security and high quality at all levels.
The Administrative Court in Växjö has about 40 employees. The organization consists of judges, rapporteurs, and clerks, a case management coordination function, a case office, and an administrative staff. In the judicial operations, the court is divided into two specialized units that handle, among other things, tax and public procurement cases as well as social insurance and other social matters. We continuously work to develop the organization to best support our employees. The Administrative Court is centrally located in Växjö and shares premises with the district court. In less than a year, we will move to newly built facilities. Växjö is a municipality in strong growth, with a university and very good public transport connections.
Job Responsibilities
As a court administrator, you will participate in the handling of the court's various types of cases. Your tasks include monitoring incoming emails, registering documents in cases, managing correspondence, calling for oral hearings, and dispatching judgments and decisions. Your tasks also include taking notes during oral hearings and handling appeals and service procedures. The work is independent, and multiple cases and tasks are managed simultaneously. We expect you to handle both internal and external contacts. External contacts may include parties, interpreters, lawyers, and authorities. Contacts can occur both in writing and via phone calls. Internally, you will collaborate daily within your immediate workgroup as well as with other employees at the court.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has completed and approved high school education. You have a very good command of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, and you have good knowledge of English. Relevant work experience where various forms of internal/external contacts have been a central part of the work may be advantageous. The handling of cases in the court is done digitally. Therefore, it is important that you have good computer skills and are used to working in digital systems. It is also important that you can handle stressful situations and can organize and prioritize your tasks. You meet high standards of responsibility and accuracy. You have a strong sense of service and excellent collaboration skills. Furthermore, you have a very good adaptability and a good ability to absorb instructions and follow routines. We place great importance on personal qualities.
