JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
In the spring of 2026, we have the opportunity to open a new short-term unit, and we are now looking for someone who wants to be part of the startup and development of our new unit!
The short-term unit Vitsippan consists of 10 places for both respite care and short-term stays. As a nursing assistant at Vitsippan, you will work together with colleagues in the unit and be responsible for meeting the daily needs of the residents based on a person-centered approach.
You are expected to work towards set goals, take responsibility for various areas of responsibility, follow applicable routines and guidelines, and perform digital documentation via computer or phone. The work is carried out in close collaboration with nurses, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and the unit manager.
Full-time, 37 hours/week
Working hours are scheduled for days, evenings, and weekends.
Start date according to agreement.
Probationary employment may apply.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for someone with nursing education or other training/experience that the employer considers equivalent. You contribute to giving other people meaningful lives and supporting them in their daily lives. Previous experience working in a short-term unit is an advantage.
You should have a good ability and willingness to establish good relationships, as close collaboration with relatives and representatives is a significant and important part of the work.
It is important for us that you can work independently and in a team, and you should be able to adapt your work and prioritize according to current conditions. Preparing for the arrival of a new resident may mean that you need to organize and prepare at short notice to ensure a good reception. We expect you to have the ability to understand and empathize with other people's lives and be responsive to individual needs.
You, as an applicant, should have very good skills in speaking and writing in Swedish, and you have a high reading comprehension of written texts. You should actively participate in training/information at workplace meetings and be able to absorb information. Furthermore, you have experience in keeping journal notes and have very good computer skills. The work requires physical mobility.
