About us

The Digitalization Unit has a strategic overarching responsibility for coordination, environmental monitoring, analysis, planning, and development in the field of digitalization. The Digitalization Unit consists of two departments, the e-services department and the digital strategies department, with a total of 20 employees.

About the job

The knowledge of how Region Blekinge's digital landscape is interconnected and utilized is important. The Enterprise Architect supports the organization by viewing its needs in a larger context through operations, information, mobility, and infrastructure. A clear working method with an accompanying architectural framework is used as a tool. The Enterprise Architect has the overall responsibility to describe and design the strategic and tactical changes required to ensure an organization in digital transformation. Also responsible for planning and having a holistic view of the organization's strategic capabilities. The position is part of a team that works with functions within architecture, digitalization, broadband coordination, and GIS analysis.

The Enterprise Architect's tasks include:

• viewing the organization from a capability perspective
• being involved in architectural governance with forums and councils
• understanding how processes, organization, and technology are interconnected and interact
• being able to see solutions to a problem area and make the complicated simple
• translating the organization's strategic goals into a functioning architecture that supports operational development through digitalization
• producing architectural deliverables such as target architectures, reference architectures, strategies, governing principles, gap analyses
• monitoring the environment regarding digital transformation

About you

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, has a natural drive and commitment, and a strong sense of responsibility. You enjoy immersing yourself in new technologies and regulations and keeping yourself updated through active environmental monitoring. You are communicative and have a good understanding of both technology and operations. You thrive in collaboration with others, leading work in smaller groups and harnessing the collective energy of the group to move towards a common goal. You are used to speaking in front of groups and leading work in smaller teams. You express yourself well both verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English.

Requirements for the role:

• Higher education with a focus on technology, or other education combined with experience that we consider equivalent.
• Experience working with architecture and establishing architecture in a larger organization.
• Good knowledge and understanding of how an organization needs to change through digitalization.

Meritorious:

• Certification in architecture
• Experience working with architectural frameworks
• Experience with larger and complex technical solutions within IT infrastructure, system development, information architecture, and management
• Work with concepts, principles, and methods for designing architecture.
• Good skills in analysis, modeling, and description of architecture.

The position is a permanent full-time employment located in Karlskrona. Travel within Blekinge occurs, as well as some work outside the county.
