About Us

One area within knowledge management is the national collaboration group for health data, whose mission is to strategically guide and strengthen the regional collaborative work with health data.

The base unit of Information Technology is responsible for managing and developing the region's information systems and technical infrastructure based on overarching strategies, as well as delivering and developing operational support and service functions.

We are now looking for a technical system administrator for the IT systems technology department, which belongs to the base unit of Information Technology, where the departments of IT system administration for healthcare, IT service, IT infrastructure, IT development, and coordination are also included. The IT systems technology department consists of 17 employees.

Region Blekinge's IT environment is modern and encompasses the entire region, with collaborations within Blekinge as well as with other regions.

Blekinge also offers a fantastic environment outside the office with a wonderful archipelago.

About the Job

As a technical system administrator in Region Blekinge, you will work in the area that develops and delivers support and service functions to all operations in Region Blekinge.

Within the region, we work according to the management model PM3, in which we determine what we will do. It is an operations-driven model that creates value through close collaboration between operations and the IT organization. This means that you will be an important contact for the operations where you represent your system from a technical perspective. We work according to ITIL.

In the role of technical system administrator, you will be responsible for one or more systems from a technical perspective. You will be part of an operations team that performs maintenance of IT systems with tasks such as installation, configuration, and upgrading.

This may also involve participation in procurement work when the systems your team is responsible for are replaced or new ones are procured. Tasks in technical system administration are varied, and based on your skills and experience, we will offer you a developing journey.

About You

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in IT or equivalent knowledge and experience deemed equivalent by the employer.

It is advantageous if you have experience with similar tasks and good knowledge in application operations, database operations, Windows server, as well as basic knowledge in networking and IT security.

The job requires good Swedish language skills in both spoken and written form.

Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, where the employee must undergo a security screening interview and background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585).

About Development and IT

Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is development and IT. Here, there are combined resources in planning, digitization, information technology, research, quality and development, public health, environment, and sustainability. The area also includes the office of the patient board. The area manages and develops, among other things, the organization's work related to technical services, management systems, process-oriented working methods, and portfolio architecture, technology, and information management. There is also the Blekinge Competence Center, which is responsible for Region Blekinge's medical library, learning center, R&D agreements, the scientific council, and other research activities.
