Job Description: We are now looking for an IT Systems Engineer for an assignment in Karlskrona. You will work with IT systems onboard the client's vessels and closely with systems engineers to ensure that the IT infrastructure is well designed in accordance with operational needs. The products consist of many systems, both in-house developed and purchased, which are integrated into a complex distributed environment. Location: Karlskrona Main Responsibilities:

• Design, development, and verification of IT systems/infrastructure
• Review and analysis of technical IT solutions
• Establishment of IT system documentation, e.g., descriptions, instructions, and policies

Your Profile

• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders in cross-functional environments.
• You have the knowledge to transform requirements and analyses into technical solutions.
• You are open-minded and constantly share your knowledge and experience.

Required Competencies

• Master's degree or equivalent experience
• Several years of experience in similar roles
• Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
• Knowledge and experience in design, development, and verification of IT systems/infrastructure, such as:

• Version control systems (Git),
• Scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell),
• Virtualization (KVM/Hyper-V),
• Infrastructure as code (Ansible, Terraform, Puppet),
• Networking,
• Windows/Linux,
• Microsoft Active Directory management.

Desirable Competencies:

• Knowledge and experience in IT architecture or IT modeling
• Knowledge and experience in DevOps security
• Experience in product development
