We are now looking for a technically skilled and self-sufficient Onsite Technician for one of our clients in the automotive industry in Olofström. The role is placed in a production environment and involves close collaboration with the business where stable and secure IT operations are business-critical.

This is a temporary position until the end of the year with a start as soon as possible.

Working hours: 07:00–16:00
Location: The work is 100% onsite.

Your Responsibilities

In the role of Factory Support, you will work broadly within client and user-facing IT in an industrial environment. You will be responsible for both incident management and preventive work to ensure a stable and secure IT environment.

You will work with:

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues within a Windows environment (client and peripherals)
• User and permission management in Active Directory
• Administration in Microsoft 365 (accounts, licenses, groups, etc.)
• Patching and updating clients and systems
• Hardware management, installations, and reinstallations
• Ordering and lifecycle management of IT equipment
• Basic network troubleshooting (LAN, ports, cabling, switch environment)
• Security-related measures according to internal guidelines
• Proactive work in the production environment – identifying risks and addressing them before incidents occur

We are looking for someone who does not only work on a ticket basis – but takes ownership of the environment and ensures it functions optimally.

Your Profile

We see that you have:

• Previous experience in onsite IT support or technical support in a production or enterprise environment
• Very good knowledge of Active Directory
• Experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment
• Good understanding of Windows 10/11
• Familiarity with patching, client management, and lifecycle work
• Basic networking knowledge

It is a plus if you have previously worked in an industrial or production environment.

You can be relatively junior - but you need to have the technical confidence to work independently in a business-critical environment.
