Do you want to work in a socially important organization where your technical skills make a real difference every day? We are now looking for a service-oriented and solution-focused Helpdesk Technician for a government agency with national responsibility for community development.
About the position
In the role of Helpdesk Technician, you will staff the client's Service Desk as a central part of IT support. You will handle cases from first contact to resolution, escalate complex problems, and contribute to a smooth IT environment. The role requires close customer contact and the ability to guide users pedagogically.

Job responsibilities
You will be the first point of contact for users with IT-related questions and problems. The role includes technical troubleshooting, user support, and administration of IT environments, ensuring an efficient IT everyday life for our client.
- Provide support and guidance regarding problems, error reports, handling questions, and orders.
- Ensure that IT equipment is functioning.
- Register and manage support cases in a case management system.
- Inform users and the organization about disruptions in IT systems.
- Administer IT environments such as user accounts, email accounts, and permissions.
- Create and update user support and instructions on the intranet.
- Refer more complex problems to second line support.
We are looking for someone who
- Has a high school diploma or equivalent education.
- Good communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.
- Experience in customer service and working towards service goals.
- Service-oriented, pedagogical, and good social skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks while maintaining accuracy and structure.
- Experience working with IT.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
- Knowledge of case management systems (e.g., Nilex).
- Experience with Windows Server and networks.
It is a merit if you have
- Experience with Active Directory and Exchange.
- Experience with Windows, Office, and Teams.
