We are now looking for an IT Management Leader to be placed in the IT Development and Coordination department.
The department is primarily responsible for system and integration development as well as object management.
About the Job
Within Region Blekinge, we work according to the pm3 governance model and perform our work according to ITIL processes. Pm3 is a business-driven model that creates value through close collaboration between the region's various operations and IT, which means you will be an important contact for the representatives of the operations in our governance model.
In your role as IT Management Leader, you will be offered a varied and developing assignment and you will have primary responsibility for the management and development of the operations' IT support.
In your role, you will be responsible for ensuring that the following is carried out:
- Problem-solving, planning, coordination, and prioritization of the activities that fall within your area of responsibility
- Actively maintaining close collaboration with various representatives in your area where you together drive the operations' services towards sustainability and quality
- Ensuring that prioritized activities are carried out in collaboration with the technical team
- Monitoring to ensure that we, from a technical perspective, ensure that the operations' object plans and projects are fulfilled according to established directives
About You
We are looking for someone with a university degree in IT or another comparable education and/or work experience that the employer considers equivalent.
You have previous experience from similar roles within IT operations and/or system management with a strong interest and experience in leadership and work management, informally or formally. Furthermore, you have excellent computer skills and good knowledge of expressing yourself in both Swedish and English, both orally and in writing.
As a person, you are socially and positively driven with a desire to get the work done and with quality as a starting point. For us, quality is an important factor as the various operations of Region Blekinge work with life-critical functions and services.
In addition to a positive attitude and high engagement, you also have the ability to think results-oriented. You actively share your knowledge and experiences and collaborate to do your utmost to achieve the operations' set goals.
At times, the workload can be high, which also places great demands on your ability to be flexible and to adapt to new conditions.
For your information, Region Blekinge places all permanent staff in a war position. Some of our positions are security classified, for which a security check with a background check is conducted.

About Development and IT
Region Blekinge's organization is divided into six areas of responsibility, one of which is development and IT. Here, resources are gathered within planning, digitization, information technology, research, quality and development, public health, environment, and sustainability. The area also includes the office of the Patient Board. The area manages and develops, among other things, the organization's work related to technical services, management systems, process-oriented work methods, and portfolio, architecture, technology, and information governance. There is also the Blekinge Competence Center, which is responsible for Region Blekinge's medical library, learning center, R&D agreements, the scientific council, and other research activities.
