Play a leading role in our dedicated production team

Are you looking for an opportunity to inspire, motivate, and lead a team? If you have previous leadership experience, preferably in an industrial setting, and are motivated to lead people in production, this could be the right job for you. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a company that plays a central role in the green transition in our society. Our production is growing, and we now need to expand our team of production leaders for our extrusion line.

Develop, motivate, and engage

As a Production Leader at NKT, it is your leadership skills that will take center stage. You will lead a skilled team of Operators who work with the application of insulation systems on our cables. You will ensure that our resources in terms of people, machines, and materials are used in the best way possible. You will lead a team where the applied working time is 5-shift, which means that production continues even when you are not on site.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your leadership and will be responsible for the following:

ensuring that active work is conducted according to NKT's management system for quality, environment, and occupational health and safety.
conducting recruitment and development of staff
ensuring that resources in terms of people, machines, and materials are utilized efficiently
developing, monitoring, and updating investment & overhead budgets
developing, visualizing, and monitoring department goals, and breaking these goals down and developing them within the department
ensuring that operations are conducted in accordance with applicable laws and agreements

Inspiring and engaged leader

To achieve good results and to thrive as a production leader, you have previous experience in leading staff and an ability to engage and motivate employees. You are skilled at tackling challenges with a positive attitude in a dynamic environment and have a talent for providing feedback with a professional ability to address different individuals. As a leader, you are clear about goals and expectations and see development as the most important factor for sustainable results. You have an interest in technology and enjoy contributing to conversations and discussions.

In addition to the above, you have experience in leading staff, have worked with SAM (systematic work environment management), and have a genuine interest in quality and improvement work. Your CV should also include the following:

High school education with a focus on technology or equivalent
Experience in personnel management, preferably within the manufacturing industry
Proficient in Microsoft Office, experience with SAP is an advantage
Fluency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
