About the role
As the mechanical maintenance manager, you will be responsible for leading and developing our maintenance department. You set the direction for the work and ensure that we have a systematic, data-driven approach that prioritizes recurring issues and creates long-term solutions. The role involves close collaboration with production and several internal stakeholders.
Main Responsibilities
- Build a future-proof maintenance organization with efficient workflows.
- Implement a data-driven approach to analyze recurring faults and prioritize long-term solutions.
- Plan and lead preventive and corrective maintenance in close collaboration with production.
- Initiate and drive improvement projects and renovations to optimize equipment and processes.
- Develop the team's skills through training, coaching, and the introduction of new technical solutions.
- Ensure high safety standards through risk analyses, routines, and continuous follow-up.
- Coordinate complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure customer focus and flexibility based on customer needs.
Qualifications
- Solid technical understanding and experience in maintenance strategy.
- Ability to build and lead teams with a coaching leadership style.
- Strong communication and planning skills.
- Drive to create structure, systematics, and make data-driven decisions.
- High safety awareness and the ability to build a good safety culture.
