Junior Project Manager for Procurement

Job Description

In the role of Junior Project Manager for Procurement, you will be an important part of the project organization where you support the lead project manager in procurement-related parts of the project. You will act as a sub-project manager for procurement and work closely with the procurement organization to ensure that activities, timelines, and documentation are aligned with the project's needs.

The work involves following up on procurement activities, coordinating information between the project and procurement, as well as structuring and gathering documentation needed for procurement decisions. You will monitor the status of orders and deliveries and contribute to keeping the project updated regarding the procurement status. The role combines operational procurement tasks with project management, providing you with a broad and developing daily routine.

You will also participate in project meetings where you report on the status of the procurement area and request resources from the rest of the procurement organization when needed.

About the Candidate

To succeed in the role of Junior Project Manager for Procurement, you have a post-secondary education, for example in economics, logistics, or industrial economics. You are proficient in Swedish, both spoken and written, and meet relevant security requirements.

As a person, you are driven, communicative, and have a good overview of both details and the big picture. You enjoy working in a structured manner, creating clarity, and driving activities forward in a project environment.

Requirements:

Post-secondary education in economics, logistics, or industrial economics
Good knowledge of Swedish
The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the Security Protection Act, which requires Swedish citizenship and a clean criminal record
