Project Manager in Ship Production Investments

We are currently seeking a project manager with experience in investments in production facilities and equipment for ship production, with a particular focus on plate production such as welding, cutting, plate forming, machining, and surface treatment.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating investment projects from start to finish. This means you will plan and follow up on timelines and budgets, manage procurements, and ensure the implementation of new production capabilities and facilities. You will work closely with experienced production engineers and purchasers who define needs, develop specifications, and drive the commissioning of equipment. The project team also includes controllers who support financial follow-up. Property-related investments are managed by our Property organization.

Your main tasks include leading and following up on investments against timelines and budgets, distributing tasks within the project team, coordinating investment documentation for approval, and planning and driving implementation and commissioning.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with experience in larger or medium-sized investment projects, preferably within the manufacturing industry. If you have also worked with production technology issues, that is a plus. You are social, enjoy teamwork, and have the ability to build strong collaborations. As a person, you are self-driven, goal-oriented, and solution-focused with a strong technical interest. You work in a structured manner and have order and tidiness. Experience with business systems such as Aveva ERM and Hansa is a plus.

This assignment requires you to undergo a security clearance that requires Swedish citizenship.
