As a process engineer at AAK, you will enter a dynamic and operationally close role where you work broadly across several parts of the factory. The role offers a broad and developing everyday life with both technical and analytical content, where you will work closely with production and actually influence the entire factory. You will become a key player in the organization and collaborate closely with several departments while also having ongoing contact with external parties such as suppliers and contractors.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a process engineer, you will work both short-term with troubleshooting and long-term with development and investments. The role also includes daily check-ins, project meetings, and ongoing contact with production management. The pace varies; sometimes you drive several parallel projects, where your problem-solving ability comes into play.

Examples of tasks include:

Analyze, optimize, and follow up production processes to maximize capacity, quality, stability, and energy efficiency
Drive improvement work and investigate deviations, from minor disturbances to larger technical problems
Develop and design technical solutions, including new processes and facility changes
Lead and participate in projects, from feasibility studies and requirements specifications to installation and commissioning
Collaborate internally and externally and actively work with sustainability, energy optimization, and the environment to ensure that AAK delivers the right quality on time

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

Has a relevant post-secondary education, for example in process or chemical engineering, or mechanical engineering
Has work experience in a similar role within processes
Has good computer and system understanding
Is fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written

Meritorious

Good knowledge of process technology, as well as a broad technical industrial interest and interest in the development of qualified production
