Operator at 135th Security Squadron
As an operator at the 135th Security Squadron, you will work within the military security service with a focus on gathering security intelligence aimed at indicating and identifying suspected security threats to the Armed Forces' protected assets.
In your employment, you will work on a highly relevant task with a constantly changing threat landscape. The work is very long-term and is conducted with high discretion. As a person, you should be patient, results-oriented, and have a high ability for creative thinking.
Currently, 135th Security Squadron is looking for:
- Troop Leader (SO6-7/OF1-2)
- Patrol Leader (SO6-7/OF1)
- Communications Officer (SO6-7)
- Combat Leader (SO7-8)
- Planning Officer (S07-8)
Main Responsibilities
The daily work is varied and includes everything from training and education to the execution of operational activities. An important part is also the development of the operations within your future area of work.
The positions of combat leader, troop leader, and patrol leader further involve leading, being responsible for, and developing their respective subunits, and having direct personnel responsibility.
As a communications officer, you are responsible for supporting the operational components during operations regarding communication means and how they should be utilized. Furthermore, you are responsible for development and training within the communication service at the unit.
The planning officer is responsible for long-term planning within development, exercises, and operational activities.
The employment begins with a basic course lasting approximately 6 months; after passing, you will be placed in a suitable position. Position-specific training begins after the common basic course.

REQUIREMENTS Qualifications
- Approved high school education.
- Completed and approved military basic training.
- Officer's degree.
- Driving license B.
- Swedish citizenship.
- No pet allergies.
- Completed and approved results in accordance with FMFysS.
- Approved results on selection tests after a weighted assessment.
MERITORIOUS
- Experience and training in covert gathering in terrain and urban environments.
- Work in security unit service or reconnaissance service in the Armed Forces or similar company/authority.
- Completed and approved military police training.
- Military driving licenses and further driving training civilian/military.
- Experience of national/international missions.
- Experience and training in communication and command systems as well as electronic warfare (communications officer).
- Experience in leading security operations (combat leader, troop leader, patrol leader).
Other
Employment form: Permanent. The Armed Forces applies a six-month probationary period for those who are not employed by the authority.
Location: Kungsängen, Life Guards.
During the recruitment process, selection tests according to the above requirements will be conducted over four days. The test will be physically and psychologically demanding, and you should not drive on the Sunday after the test.
Test date: 20260409-12. The tests will be conducted near the Life Guards.
Start of employment: 1/9 2026.
