Stationsgatan is a care and nursing home with 54 places. It is beautifully located in Ytterby just outside Kungälv. The residence has perfect access to the train with walking distance to the workplace and only 20 minutes into Gothenburg. If you work with us, you will have access to parking right outside the residence if you prefer to drive to work. You work closely and together with a nursing colleague and you have patient responsibility for half of the residents.
Main Responsibilities and Goals
The nurse is a key person and has a leading role in Attendos operations. Three areas of competence are particularly important for the position: Care, Leadership, and Development. These areas of competence should be permeated by a holistic view and ethical approach. The main responsibility of the nurses is to organize care in the best possible way and guide employees in health and medical issues.
Our two full-time employed nurses at Stationsgatan design and execute tasks productively based on current goals, strategies, and other guidelines. Competence Requirements
A valid nursing license is required. You should have at least 3 years of experience and preferably be educated in geriatrics or district nursing. It is a requirement to express yourself well in the Swedish language in both speech and writing. Familiarity with using computers in daily work for various types of documentation is also important. You should be analytical, solution-focused, flexible, attentive, and always have a good attitude. Since your role as a nurse at Stationsgatan involves a leadership function, you possess an advanced ability to organize your work, collaborate, lead, and guide in nursing work.
Areas of Responsibility
You are the one who ensures that tasks are performed in accordance with the internal and external requirements that apply at the moment. Your tasks are divided into areas related to leadership, development, and education as well as practical tasks. Examples of this may include
Manage medications appropriately applying knowledge in pharmacology and where applicable, write and follow up delegations.
Systematically lead, prioritize, distribute, and coordinate nursing work in the team based on the employees' different competencies and the client's needs.
The ability to critically reflect on existing routines and methods and inspire dialogue about the introduction of new knowledge.

As a person, you are responsible, independent, and humble with the ability to prioritize. You enjoy guiding and delegating nursing staff in health and medical tasks and are motivated by creating high-quality care for those who live with us together with your colleagues.
At Stationsgatan, you will have a varied job where you work long-term with health plans to increase the quality of life for the residents. You are also the one who makes assessments and makes decisions about actions in acute situations. Your responsibilities also include providing good palliative care. The transition to Close Care means that more and more healthcare interventions at a specialized level take place at the residence. This gives you a variety of stimulating and developing tasks. The work is independent while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks.
