The Health and Care Administration, with its approximately 1500 employees, is one of the administrations in Mölndal and encompasses elderly care, functional support, and health care.

The rehabilitation unit consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and service technicians who work with the municipality's six care and nursing homes, a short-term unit, and provide health care at home for individuals who cannot reach the health center. Within the area of Health Care, there is also the Functional Support Team that works with individuals who have a congenital or acquired disability and who live in special service housing (BmSS). It may occur that physiotherapists also work in this area. The mission of the rehabilitation unit is to work and develop cooperation based on a person-centered approach for safe and secure care and rehabilitation for individuals within municipal health care.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a physiotherapist in Mölndal, you primarily work clinically, where you independently and as part of a team identify and assess the patient's rehabilitation needs according to the physiotherapy process. You work closely with other professionals in health care to provide safe and secure care.
The work involves individually or as part of a team making assessments of functional ability and performing treatments and evaluations. You will assess needs, trial, and prescribe medical technical aids. The work also includes supervising nursing staff and prescribing rehabilitation interventions.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience working as a physiotherapist in municipal health care is an advantage but not a requirement. We look forward to your skills and knowledge, whether you have several years of experience in the profession or are coming directly from your studies.
We see that you take responsibility for your own and the shared tasks with the best interests of the organization and the patients in focus. You take your tasks seriously, are keen to complete what you have started, and ensure that the work is done correctly.
For the position, it is required that you show respect and consideration for those you meet in your professional role. You have an open and positive attitude as you have the patient's needs as the starting point for your actions.
You have a strong commitment and enthusiasm for your work and take initiative and responsibility for moving the work forward. Furthermore, you have a good ability to work together with others to perform tasks and achieve goals and promote a respectful work environment. You understand the common mission, act based on it, and contribute to the whole.
A valid driver's license is required as driving is part of the job responsibilities.
You have good computer skills and have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
The rehabilitation unit's office is located in the pleasant and attractive business park of Södra Porten next to E6/E20 with good communication by car, bicycle, bus, and train. Here, there is proximity to green areas, restaurants, and fitness facilities.
