Job Description

As a Business Controller with us, you will be a key player in driving our financial governance and strategy forward. The role is distinctly operational, meaning you act as a strategic partner to the business. We are an industrial group with decentralized decision-making, and you will report to the group executives.

You will be responsible for analyzing financial data, identifying trends, and highlighting risks as well as improvement opportunities. Through qualified analyses and proactive follow-up, you ensure that the organization has the right decision-making basis to achieve its goals. You operate in the intersection of financial strategy and operational reality, which places high demands on your ability to translate numbers into business benefits.

Main responsibilities:

• Ongoing business and financial analysis, monitoring of key figures, and financial reporting.
• Identify trends, risks, and improvement potential to proactively suggest measures that increase profitability.
• Act as an advisor and sounding board to the business and group executives. You are expected to engage in strategic dialogue and communicate financial insights pedagogically.
• Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships by visiting and collaborating with our facilities.

An important part of the job is to be on-site where it happens. You will have a number of travel days each month to visit our facilities across the country, which requires you to be flexible and enjoy a mobile working style.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a Master's degree in Business Administration or equivalent relevant higher education. You have several years of experience working as a Business Controller or Management Consultant, preferably with experience from manufacturing companies. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You are a proficient user of Excel, and prior experience with Monitor is a plus. If you have an interest in and experience with Power BI or similar, that is strongly meritorious.

To succeed in this role, a distinct analytical ability is required, where you can quickly identify connections and draw conclusions from large data sets. You are a communicative and unpretentious relationship builder who can engage in dialogues at a high strategic level. You thrive in an environment where desk analysis is mixed with operational presence at the facilities, and you have the ability to build trust at all levels of the organization.
