Occupational Safety Coordinator at Göta Trängregemente T 2

Göta Trängregemente T 2 is now looking for an Occupational Safety Coordinator. You will report directly to the HR manager at the regiment and be part of the HR department at T 2.

Main Responsibilities

As an Occupational Safety Coordinator, you will work broadly within the entire occupational safety area and serve as consultative support to both managers and employees. The work involves independently driving and handling issues related to the occupational safety area. The role also includes coordinating, planning, and developing the regiment's systematic occupational safety work, as well as supporting managers in investigations and follow-ups of occupational safety risks.

Your assignment also includes acting as the regiment's contact person in occupational safety matters and having regular collaboration with the safety organization and occupational health services. The work also includes responsibility for the development and adaptation of routines for local governing documents within the occupational safety area, as well as preparing materials for the local occupational safety committee.

Qualifications

  • Several years of experience in qualified HR work with a focus on occupational safety
  • Experience from human resources/behavioral science education or other work experience/education that the employer finds equivalent
  • Relevant knowledge regarding legislation related to occupational safety
  • Driving license B

Meritorious

  • Advanced higher education in the occupational safety area
  • Experience of working in public administration

Personal Qualities

The role requires a person who enjoys working independently but can also quickly switch to collaborating in a group. Drive, commitment, and a genuine interest in occupational safety issues are important qualities. A responsible working approach is highly valued, as is the ability to create good collaborations. High personal integrity and a natural ability to build networks are significant in this position. Clear and confident communication in both speech and writing is also a prerequisite.
