Job Responsibilities

Do you have excellent administrative skills, an eye for finance, and enjoy working both operationally and strategically? Then this could be the role for you! We are now looking for a coordinator with a focus on coordination, finance, and development within Gothenburg City's rental model & local mediation assignment.
The Grants & Support unit is part of the Association Support department and consists of sixteen dedicated employees. We work to create good conditions for the city's association life, among other things through association grants, municipal guarantees, advice, the rental model, and mediation of premises. In total, we manage around 150 million SEK annually for about 600 associations.
We are now looking for a coordinator who will play a central role in working with Gothenburg City's rental model and be the person in the unit responsible for documentation, establishment, and implementation of rental agreements, contractual issues, rental billing, and invoice management (incoming and outgoing invoices). In this position, you will be responsible for coordinating, driving, and following up on rental agreements between the cultural and association life and property owners as well as tenants. Since the administration acts as an agent for property owners, the position also means that you will be responsible for administrative issues related to rental agreements and rental billing, responsible for termination of rental agreements, transfer and subletting applications, as well as other issues regarding administrative rental and contractual matters.
The role also involves that upon termination of rental agreements, you will be responsible for mediating premises, advertising premises, and receiving, processing, and managing these expressions of interest according to Gothenburg City's and the Sports and Association Administration's criteria. We will implement a new property system in which you will be involved and responsible for the parts related to the position. And if necessary, also assist in other areas concerning the total responsibility of local mediation. Together with the workgroup, you will conduct meetings with the cultural and association life and plan and develop routines for the assignment. An important part of your and the group's work is to collaborate with both municipal companies and administrations as well as with the cultural and association life.
There are a total of three people working in the local mediation unit. The tasks may change over time.
Qualifications
We are looking for someone who has:
- Post-secondary education in, for example, finance, administration, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
- Experience in a customer-oriented role within rental, local supply, or administration, preferably in a public sector
- Knowledge of the association and cultural life, preferably in a coordinating or overarching function
- Practical experience in rental billing, invoicing, and rental processes
- Experience in independently handling cases
- Good IT skills, where experience with the Phytagoras system is a strong plus
- Driver's license (B)
- Documented experience in establishing and managing agreements, including terminations of rental agreements, direct exchanges, transfers, and subletting applications (meritorious)
