Job Description
Are you a senior, analytical, and strategic controller who wants to contribute to a sustainable Gothenburg? Then we have the position for you!
As a consultant at Randstad, you now have the opportunity to work in a central and significant role with our client within the City of Gothenburg. The administration is responsible for the city's most critical services – water, sewage, and waste – and works around the clock to enable a circular economy. We are looking for a management controller who works across departments and is responsible for coordinating the work with planning and follow-up, risk management, internal control, and internal governance. You will work directly under the department head and play a central role in the administration's strategic and operational development work. The assignment requires physical presence at the headquarters in Gothenburg, where you will be an important part of leading and supporting the business's controller team.
Your responsibilities include:
- being the process leader for the administration's planning and follow-up process
- leading the department's controller team
- planning and driving the work with the administration's risk analyses
- acting as management support to the department head
- supporting and, if necessary, driving the work related to the department's focus areas for 2026
The position is located in the Strategic Coordination department. The department is responsible for structure, methods, and tools for planning, following up, and developing the operations. Strategic Coordination is also responsible for the annual tax process and the construction of taxes as well as coordination of research and innovation, environmental and climate work, and cross-departmental referrals.

Qualifications
- Several years of experience in strategic work, quality work, analysis, and follow-up in a goal-oriented organization
- Experience working with the city's system support Stratsys
- Experience in report writing and good writing skills
