Description

The communications function at Göteborgs Stads Leasing AB, GSL, is strengthening!

The communications function is part of one of six teams in the operational support department, alongside IT, business development, and environmental sustainability.

All employees in the cross-functional team are self-sufficient specialists who independently lead their work within their area of expertise. With us, you will continue to strengthen and develop GSL's communication work as one of two communicators, with the team leader as the communications manager.

The position is newly established and aims to contribute to making us an even more communicative organization, with communication work that is both strategic and systematic. We are trying a new process-based working method, and you will have the opportunity to develop the communication work at GSL and the processes you are responsible for.

Responsibilities

In the role of communicator with a strategic focus, you will be the process leader for both internal communication and project communication. You will be the project communicator in larger projects. You will manage and implement the development plan for communication that will take us forward.

The assignment for internal communication includes, among other things:

• developing and supporting internal communication to create a communicative organization and providing consultative support to management, managers, and team leaders
• planning and conducting internal training and skills enhancement initiatives in communication.

The assignment for project communication includes, among other things:

• developing and supporting the process for project communication, including communication planning
• developing and supporting methods for impact measurement, environmental monitoring, and insight work.

As a project communicator, you will participate in the company's larger assignments, development issues, and projects. In the role of project communicator, you will:

• Analyze, plan, implement, produce, and follow up on communication efforts, often as the sole communication specialist in a temporary project group.
• Your first assignment will be the role of project communicator for our upcoming operational relocation.

We are currently in strong development, collaborating closely and supporting each other when needed. You will work broadly as communication support for the company and step in where needed. You will work both comprehensively with GSL's strategic communication work and operationally with ongoing content production, publications, and communication support in everyday life.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree in communication or equivalent
• at least eight years of experience in qualified and broad communication work, of which at least five years of experience in strategic communication work
• core competencies of a communication specialist at a very high level: language, channels, and packaging of messages
• recipient perspective and target audience adaptation
• business understanding, follow-up, analysis, and strategy

Experience in development work for a communicative organization and project communication is also important.

Desirable qualifications include education and experience in:

• communication work in the public sector
• project management
• service design
• impact measurement and insight work

We believe you are an experienced communicator who is confident in yourself and eager for development-oriented assignments. You have a large toolbox and want to use it to help build new things. You seek variation with both strategic and operational tasks and see the value in the connection between them. You get things done and can assess when it is time to act quickly and when it is time to focus on quality and the highest ambition.
