Job Description

Our business is growing, and we are looking for Building Designers with a focus on calculations who want to be part of our continued development.

Our building designers have broad and solid expertise and work on assignments within all types of commercial, public, and community-supporting properties. The assignments span all phases, from feasibility studies to construction documentation.

As a Responsible Structural Engineer with us, you will play a key role in our projects by leading and ensuring the quality of the calculation work. You will be responsible for coordinating and driving the calculation work in the projects forward within given time frames and budgets, while actively sharing your knowledge and experience with the team.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead and plan the work within the project's calculation group.
• Compile and document calculation data with clear scope, division of responsibilities, and timelines.
• Coordinate the calculation work with other stakeholders and report continuously to the project manager.
• Ensure quality through self-checks, reviews, and documented meetings.
• Participate in external meetings and contribute to good communication with clients and side consultants.
• Identify and report the need for additional calculation work or changed directives.

The work location is at our office in Solna.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who is a trained civil engineer and has at least 10 years of experience as a calculation engineer in the design of load-bearing structures in concrete, steel, and wood.

You have documented experience leading technical teams and coordinating calculation work.

You have a good ability to make decisions based on facts and previous experiences and are used to working systematically with documentation and quality assurance.

For this role, Swedish citizenship and a passed security clearance are required.
