Do you have experience in construction management and a good understanding of laws and regulatory requirements? Entrecon Consulting is now looking for a construction manager for the subway expansion - FUT.

You will be employed by Entrecon Consulting and work on assignments at the client's site.

The Assignment

The role of the construction manager is to support the project in various areas within design, planning, and production. You will have varied tasks and primarily have a lot of contact with our organization, external partners, and our contracted contractors. Examples of tasks:

• Participate in rounds, inspections, and surveys,
• Prepare documentation for changes,
• Follow up and report on the contractor's progress regarding costs, timelines, quality, risks, safety, work environment, environment, and social sustainability,
• Conduct checks and spot checks,
• Review the contractor's work preparations, execution, self-checks, and ensure compliance with what has been agreed. Reviews should also be conducted against set requirements, developed design solutions, etc.,
• Monitor necessary permits and building permits as well as conditions in other agreements and ensure that other necessary conditions are met.

Qualifications

The construction manager should have the following experiences/qualifications:

• At least a high school engineer or equivalent,
• Documented professional competence/education in the requested technical area,
• At least three (3) years of experience as a construction manager or project manager for equivalent contracts in the requested technical area,
• Documented knowledge of construction law and the technical area's regulations, e.g., AMA,
• All construction managers must be able to pass a security check,
• Good language skills in Swedish and English (spoken and written),
• Bas-U and Bas-P competence.

Desirable experiences and qualifications:

• Experience working in tunnel environments,
• Experience participating in inspections,
• Experience working with testing and commissioning,
• Experience working with traffic authority track installations or construction parts,
• Experience working in production,
• Experience working with steel structures.
